Tax & super estimates: *Tax uses 2026–27 Australian resident individual income-tax rates and assumes the full $18,200 tax-free threshold. It is an annualised estimate only and excludes Medicare levy, offsets, HELP/HECS and other adjustments. †Super uses the 12% SG rate. Actual SG depends on qualifying/ordinary earnings and your circumstances. Verify figures with the ATO.

How the conversion works

TORVILO multiplies your hourly rate by your paid hours per week to estimate weekly gross income. Annual income is weekly income multiplied by the number of paid weeks you enter. Fortnightly income is two weeks, and the monthly figure is the annual estimate divided by 12.

Why paid weeks are adjustable

Not everyone is paid for 52 weeks each year. Casual, seasonal and contract workers may have unpaid periods. Changing the paid-weeks field makes the annual estimate more useful for different working patterns.

Example

At $30 per hour for 38 paid hours each week over 52 paid weeks, the estimate is $1,140 per week and $59,280 per year before tax.
